The total length of tunnel is 5286m, altitude of nearly 3000 meters, the geological situation is very complicated. It’s the longest tunnel in central Asia, also China's longest single tunnel in overseas construction. The tunnel is an important achievement of the cooperation between China and the Tajikistan, also another important achievement of friendly cooperation between China and the countries of Central Asia.
